Asta Works app for iPhone and iPad

Asta Work’s mission is to drive forward the development of a more circular economy, which is critical for the long-term health of our planet. Our goal is to incentive more consumers to recycle and also to encourage producers to operate more sustainably, reducing the demand for raw materials and reducing the burden on landfills.

The platform offers two types of services: either convenient, on-demand pickup services or, for the residents of partner Asta Works buildings, in-building drop-offs. For the first type of service, consumers schedule a pickup for an Asta Works carrier to come to their home and take away their recyclables. For the residents of partner buildings, they will create a drop-off through the app and drop their recyclables off in conveniently located Asta Works bins. Consumers will then earn points depending on the type and quantity of their recyclables. These points can then be redeemed for different rewards, such as free coffee, Amazon gift cards and more.

Asta Works is a free service. We aim to educate consumers that their waste has value; by offering rewards and by tracking the impact of individual users, the platform shows people that their actions do have an effect on the world around them. You will be able to see your impact by the amount of carbon emissions and electricity you save through recycling.
